Northbrook Design designed a new fireplace in a simple Beauharnais limestone, replaced heavy drapery with opaque roman shades in Irish linen, and selected neutral upholstery to compliment the client's Asian antiques collection. The carpeted floors were replaced with red oak, stained in a medium tone. These hardwood floors highlight the client's Tibetan rug collection.
